Just a few words about seasonal availability of our herb plants.
Many of our herbs are seasonal plants, and are not available at certain times of the year.
Herbaceous perennial herbs e.g. mints, horseradish and chives usually start growing again during March. We do not sell these plants outside of their growing season, as receiving a plant with no growth above ground level can (quite rightly) lead to disappointment .
Annual and some biennial herbs such as coriander, dill and parsley, which grow every year from seed, are normally available from mid spring (around April ) however the tender basils are not normally ready until May.
Shrubby perennial herb plants such as thyme’s and rosemary are normally available throughout the year, although there may be short periods between batches where stocks run out.
